The Tiger Lotus sprouts stems with extend leaves eventually to the surface of the aquarium. These are very pretty plants we do our best to select bulbs with some sprouting, but if no sprout occurs after two weeks in the aquarium, contact our customer service department and we will credit you for the bad bulb. Only about one in ten bulbs turn out bad but you might be the "lucky" one. Bulbs are small and fit right into a box of fish:)
