Diamond Tetra
As the name implies the diamond tetra is a very flashy fish, but it takes nearly six months to develop the diamond reflective scales for which this fish is known. These tetras are great community fish and grow to a nice two and a half inches. Diamond tetras are difficult to breed and grow slow but the diamond scale pattern is worth the wait. With the right lighting these fish will be to "jewel" of the aquarium. Normally we ship these tetras at one inch in size when the diamond scales are just beginning to develop.
